Build on the API that runs Intersink.
Kodkila is the engine and API behind Intersink. Your website, app or server gets the same routes the Intersink console uses: sign-in, products and orders, CRM, media, realtime and app updates, for your own channel.
The API is a preview. You can create test keys now; they can only read.
What you can build
Channel apps and storefronts
A website or Expo app for your channel, using Kodkila as its only backend.
Sign-in with codes and passkeys
Email codes, passkeys and two-step sign-in for your channel’s users.
Products and orders
Catalogue, coupons, orders and order tracking, priced on the server.
CRM and public forms
Contacts, pipelines and deals, fed by forms on your own website.
Media
File uploads, and video served as adaptive HLS and DASH streams.
Realtime and push
Live events over one stream, presence rooms and push to phones.
App updates server
JavaScript and asset updates for your Expo apps, sent over the air. Native changes still need a store build.
Webhooks
Signed events to your server when orders, products or pages change.
Search and feature flags
Product search with filters and facets, and flags to stage features.
Get started
Get a key
Sign in to the Intersink console, open your channel and go to Developers › API keys. Turn the API on and create a test key.
Install the SDK
A typed TypeScript client for every route, with no runtime dependencies.
Terminal npm install https://kodkila.com/sdk/kodkila-sdk-0.1.0.tgzMake your first call
Ask the API which channel your app key belongs to.
Terminal curl https://api.intersink.com/v1/channel/key-info \ -H "X-App-Key: kk_app_test_…"
The basics
- Base URL
https://api.intersink.com/v1, the preview host: data there can be reset, and payments run in demo mode- Format
- JSON over HTTPS, with the payload in
data - Keys
- An app key for browsers and phones, a server key for your own servers
- Test mode
- Chosen by the key, never by the URL. Test keys read real data and refuse every write.
- Reference
- Every documented route, from the API’s own OpenAPI document
Keys live in the console
Your account, channels, keys, webhooks and billing are all in the Intersink console. This site has the guides and the reference.
